Embark on a 45-minute flight over Kalbarri that offers a dramatic perspective on the region’s stunning natural wonders, accessible only by air. Begin your journey by flying towards the rugged and breathtaking Kalbarri National Park, passing the Ross Graham lookout and along the full length of the Murchison River Gorges. The river has carved through the sandstone, revealing steep rock faces with striking white, red, and purple layers. Soar over iconic formations such as Hawkeshead, Little Z Bend, Big Z Bend, and Four Ways, where the river creates a fascinating pattern with two large cuts coming from opposite directions. Continue over the loop, taking in Murchison House Station, and follow the river to its mouth as you approach Kalbarri town. At cliff-top height, marvel at the Coastal Cliffs with their vibrant red sedimentary rock colours, before returning to the airport.
